I just tuned into American Idol for the last ten minutes or so. I wasn’t surprised to see Skylar and Hollie in the bottom two (though I wish Phillip was there instead), but I was surprised with the results.
Skylar went home, and Hollie stays. I think Skylar sang better last night, but I don’t think either girl had a shot at winning. Fingers crossed for a Jessica vs. Joshua showdown in the finals, even though I’m pretty sure it’ll be Joshua vs. Phillip instead.
I think we’ll see Skylar on the country charts pretty soon.
Well I thought Skylar had a shot at the title. Disappointed mostly that Phillip wasn’t at least in the bottom two and that he didn’t go home. But Skylar will be fine. Look for her on all the country award shows in 2013. She’s going to be Carrie Underwood huge.
What a pity. I liked her. I don’t think she’ll be that big though. After a year or so, most of the American Idols fade away after a successful single and a bit of hype.
