Anderson Cooper talked about Halifax on his show!

Guys guys guys! You know how I’m obsessed with becoming friends with Anderson Cooper, right? Well, last night on his show AC 360 he talked about my hometown of Halifax, Canada!

I know, right? It’s almost like he said my name.

It was part of his regular ‘Ridiculist’, because we’re having a mayoral election. And a cat is trying to run.

The cat can’t legally run, but he has a whole campaign and everything. His name is Tuxedo Stan, and I’m considering giving him my write-in vote.

During the piece, Anderson said he wants to go to a dinner party in Canada as soon as possible. Coop? That would be a dream come true. Come any time you want, and I will make you (order catering for) literally anything. We can talk about TV and giggle, it’ll be amazing.

Update: Oh my god, his minions tweeted me back!

This is amazing. Let’s make #AndersonCooperDinnerParty a thing. He can come to Halifax, I will make gourmet pizza and serve Nova 7, and we can discuss how to replace Canada’s current Prime Minister with a cross-eyed pug.
