The Voice – Top Eight Results

As y’all know, I like to fast forward through most of the results shows for these kinds of things, so click through for a brief review of tonight’s results.

MUPPETS! I love the Muppets. A Muppet Cee Lo! (And the rest of the coaches moved aside for Muppets.) THAT OUTFIT! Amazing, you guys. It was delightful.

All the performances tonight were lovely. “Rhythm of Love”? Adorable. I want to be friends with Nicholas David and we can brush each other’s hair. Of the duets, I preferred Amanda/Trevin to Cassadee/Dez, but both were good.

Results: Wow. Once Nicholas, Melanie and Terry had all been announced as safe, I realized we’d be losing two singers this week that I really like. The two eliminated were Dez Duron and Cody Belew. That’s a shame – Christina already is out of the running. Is it because people don’t like her? Anyway, I think both those guys have good voices and a ton of stage presence, so I’m sorry to see them go.

Man, that’s disappointing Dez and Cody were out. I kind of expected the end of Dez since it seemed like most everyone else has a very obvious following. Still, undeserved departure. Dude is mega talented and should have gone to top 6. Shoulda been Trevin and Terry IMO.

In my disappointment, I almost forgot – Cee Lo + Kermit performance was fantastic! So happiness inducing. Good stuff there.
