I’m so happy for Candice! She really was the most deserving, but I honestly couldn’t have been annoyed at any of the top three winning this year. I loved Angie performing with both Adam and Jessie J, but I agree that Candice and J-Hud was easily the performance of the night, it was spectacular. The clip with the girls sabotaging the top five guys was really funny in some parts, especially the reference to Lazaro’s missed key change.

Did you listen to any of the awful J-Lo performance? Is this the third year in a row that she’s released the same song? I hope all of the gossip about her judging again is a joke, because she’s another judge I couldn’t deal with. I’d love for them to bring in honest, unknown record execs. It’ll likely save them money, and they’ll have honest feedback and possible a more marketable winner.

I loved all six performances, it was such an amazing final two, but my favourite of the night was Kree’s “All Cried Out”. I was really hoping that Nicki would stay (along with Keith), so I’m sad to hear that she’s not coming back. It was so nice to have someone so honest and candid on the panel for the first time in years. I completely agree, if they bring in anyone like that I’m out. I also really hope that Harry Connick Jr. doesn’t get asked, he really annoys me.

I’m sad to see Garrett go so early, he was easily one of my favourites. I actually haven’t liked a single performance by Danielle or the Swon Brothers; Holly is the only person on Blake’s team that I’ve ever remotely enjoyed. Sasha Allen really needs to up her game though, she just needs better song choices, or else Shakira will be out of contestants very quickly.

Love the finale! The past 2 seasons have not been that good, but I’m glad I stuck with it. I loved seeing Michael show up at Dwight’s wedding. It brought tears to my eyes!! And I’m glad he got to throw in a “that’s what she said”. Great ending.

Sticking with this show has been hard at times. It used to be perhaps the best show in television, but it just couldn’t survive so much talent moving on to bigger things. But that finale was all one could have hoped for. Funny, sweet, and satisfying. I choked up when they revealed Michael had kids. Hell I choked up when he showed up at the wedding. I wish every show could have a definitive ending like that.

I think Jaime is like the rest of them, playing the Game of Thrones. I like what losing his hand has done to him, it will be interesting ot see what happens with his newfound humanity once he is back in King’s Landing, under Tywin’s thumb, presuming he ever gets there.

I am disappointed in Tyrion, not in his acting so much, but he is not given much to work with this season. I get that the plot is largely driven by the books but still.

I always get a very creepy feeling around Margaery Tyrell w hen she is with Sansa. She’s manipulative, do you think this is genuine friendship and wouldn’t Joffrey have something to say about her befriending this girl?

Also the scenes with Theon need to stop. Seriously, what did this week’s time with him prove? He is being held captive by a Sadist? It’s enough, we get it, we got it two weeks ago. Don’t waste precious screen time on him, I’d rather get 5 more minutes of Arya.

Well I’m glad that we finally got to see the mother. I look forward to getting to know more about her next season, although I too am hanging on to the bitter end just because I’ve invested so much time in the series up until now.
I rather liked Ted’s storyline this episode; it seemed touching. Lily’s and Marshall’s will be one to watch next season too. I can’t wait to see how Lily reacts to Marshall’s news. The storyline I didn’t like was Barney and Robin, because every time I see them together they just seem so awful and this episode was no exception (although the couple they tried to mess with really had it coming). I find Barney to be especially awful. I liked him way better as a single womanizer. Plus, the way they keep harping on the fact that they “will soon be married”, ” will be legen-wait for it-MARRIED”, etc makes me think that they won’t be getting married at all. I guess we’ll see next season.
Overall, last night’s episode will make me check out the season premiere, but it won’t be a show I’ll be counting the days down for over the summer.
